Love is in the Air
(Cardigan: Kohls, Scarf: Gift, Jeans: Old Navy, Boots: Target, Purse: Fossil)
Today started out rough. 7am came too quickly and my time to get ready passed by in a flash. By the time I got home from my class, I looked like a disaster. Luckily, I had an hour or so to waste before my lunch date with Jacob. And by lunch date, I mean me picking up Subway, bringing baked goods for his coworkers, and the two of us eating in the back office. As silly as it seems, it's the highlight of my day.
I'd seen on a few other blogs that you could give your cardigan some new life by wearing it backwards. I didn't really think that style would work well for me since loose things don't always flatter my shape but after trying on several things with no luck, I decided to try it with this old cardigan. Needless to say, I will be doing this again for sure.
(Excuse my crocked, scoliosis hips and back in the last picture)
After finally finding something I felt comfortable in, it just seemed like everything looked so much more beautiful today. Although the sun was hiding behind clouds making it windy and chilly, the day just felt beautiful. I'm thinking it's the all the love in the air. But that's just me.
Come by tomorrow for a double Valentine's outfit post!
I'll leave you with this quote I just love so much and seems to go so well with all this love:
"I think you could fall in love with anyone if you saw the parts of them no one else gets to see. Like if you followed them around invisibly for a day and saw them crying in their bed at night or singing in the shower or humming quietly to themselves as they make a sandwich or even just walking along the street. And even if they were really weird and had no friends at school, I think, after seeing them at their most vulnerable, you wouldn’t be able to help falling in love with them."
