On being happier.
Now, I'm not an expert on happiness but I sure have had my fair share of break throughs on the front of being happy (you can read my post "On Being Happy" here).
So today I want to share the little things I do to increase my happiness or just remind me that this life I lead is actually pretty darn great when I'm having an off day.
Make a list. A list of good things that happened today, this week, this month, this year. Make a list of all the people that love you. Make a list of the things you're grateful for. Make a list of all the beautiful things you saw on your drive home.

Turn on your photobooth and laugh at yourself and take pictures of you laughing, smiling, dancing, singing, or acting a fool. Once your done, look at them and you'll wonder why you don't always show of that beautiful smile.
Make plans with someone that makes you feel good. Whether that's the significant other that makes you feel good with a kiss. Or your best friend that makes you feel good with her baby that's the cutest in all the land and too many laughs. Or your youth pastor that makes you remember your fire for God.
Tell someone how much they mean to you. How they've changed your life. How you've never met someone that understood you quite like they do. Or how you've never met someone that could light up a room like they could. Tell them they're beautiful, extraordinary, amazing, intelligent, inspirational, brilliant. Let it all out because you shouldn't hold such beautiful things inside without letting it overflow to those around you.
Get in some cute underwear, turn up some good dancing music, and dance like a maniac. Because when all else fails, dancing it out helps.
