Uncomfortable

Excuse the ridiculous face

(Shirt: Lauren Conrad, Skirt: F21, Shoes: Gap, Watch and purse: Fossil)

If you've been here from the beginning, you know that this blog started out as outfit post after outfit post. As I got more busy, new clothes became more scarce in my closet, and my insecurities got the best of me yet again, I slowly faded out of outfit posts.
For the past couple of months, I've really wanted to get back into doing more blogging in general, but specifically outfit posts.
Here's the things holding me back:
  • I hate the heat. So very much. One main reason is because I am not a fan of "summer clothes" on me.
  • I don't have many articles of clothing. Back to the broke college student situation.
  • I run out of things to say. I know that sounds silly, but sometimes I just have an outfit and that's it.
  • I live in an apartment in the middle of a city so there's not many "pretty" backgrounds for pictures.
  • If I drove to a park or something of that sort, I have no one to take said pictures.
  • Again, if you've been here from the beginning, you know that I have some pretty bad body image issues. Why on earth is it that a picture of you taken by a camera on a tripod makes you look so much bigger than you do in a mirror?!
So, now that I'm done giving excuses, I'm going to ask for your help. Now, I know I can't be the only blogger that feels this way so I'm hoping you lovely ladies will have some tips or solutions to get me out of this rut.
Thank you ahead of time!

  2. Oh darling girl, you are very beautiful! There's no need to feel insecure. (I mean I get it, I get insecure too) But there really is no need to be, because you're stunning just as you are and i really mean it.

  3. Ugh DITTO.
Luckily my new roomate is down to take photos of me for my blawg. And we live close to a river and a cemetery and have a ravine behind our building. So I'm sure I'll find time now that I'm reunited with my clothes tooooo.

I LOVE your hair btw. It looks so so pretty on you!

  4. i feel you on so many of those! but the best advice i can give, is do what you want! blog when you want. if you have nothing to say, you have nothing to say. and that's okay. just know you're super great, k? :)

  5. I have a lot of these same problems - if you really want to center your blog around style and fashion, try creating wish lists or inspiration boards! I love to see what bloggers are wishing they could afford and what they would wear to a certain event. Say, the Oscars were tonight - what would you be wearing?
