Mustard and Ketchup
dress: Gap, cardigan, flats, and belt: F21, tights: ModCloth, purse and watch: Fossil
You may remember from this post that I am a fan of this red and mustard yellow combo. I had forgotten about my love for it until today. This also happens to be that dress I like wearing all the time. Today's pairing is clearly bold colors. I love that this dress can be paired with just about anything.
Anyway, I realized today that I don't talk much about life on here anymore which is just plain silly. So, I may have mentioned that a while back, my mom broke her knee cap and had a seizure. She ended up re-breaking it 7 weeks into recovering and having surgery a few weeks ago. She's still not able to drive because of medications she's taking so we're her personal chauffeurs.
On Mondays, I usually head back to Phoenix to go to my one in person class on Monday and Wednesday. This semester though, my professor doesn't require attendance, homework, or the midterm. As you can imagine, this makes it difficult to have any motivation to go to class. So this morning, I let myself get distracted by picking my mom up from work and taking her to get lunch. By the time we got home, I realized I would be late for class if I left at that moment. I asked my mom what she thought I should do, because I can't make decisions to save my life, and being the awesome momma she is, she said I should just stay. So that's exactly what I did. Good thing because momma needs help running errands and has requested I make her brownies. Forever trying to take in being around my awesome family as much as I can before I eventually start my own family. Home just feels right, you know?
