So, I do this thing where I go on vacation, bring my camera, and then don't take a single picture that's not with my phone. I both hate it and love it. Anyway, this was the case with my trip to Colorado. So instead of showing you a bunch of beautiful, high quality pictures, I'll show you the few pictures I did take on my phone while there.

beautiful snowy mountains from the plane// beautiful magazine cover

pretty butterflies at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science// cloudy Denver

the only picture Sam and I took together while I was there// new socks

Let me tell you a story real quick. The day before I left for Colorado, I headed to Phoenix to sleep at my apartment because my flight left at 7 am. So, I wake up at 4:15 am without having gotten much sleep but everything was running smoothly so it was okay. I got ready and had my carry-on and purse ready to go when I go to reach inside my purse to grab my keys. Nope, not there. I figure I just left them in my room. Nope, not there either. I then spend the next 30 minutes panicking, searching EVERYWHERE in the apartment for them with no luck. I start to get desperate and wake up my brother to see if he has seen them. He helps me search for another 15 minutes with no luck. Long story short? I ended up having to leave my suitcase in my locked car and take a taxi to the airport. And no, the keys still haven't showed up. I know what your thinking, you probably dropped them on your way inside the apartment or you left them in the car or your apartment's such a mess you can't find them. Nope. I opened my apartment with the same set of keys and my apartment is actually pretty dang clean and uncluttered. So basically, my apartment did a nice vanishing act with my keys.
The end to this mysterious story.

  1. Oh my gosh that is so frustrating...why did you have to leave your suitcase behind, though?

    1. It was in my locked car and I didn't have time to call AAA :/

  2. Oh dear, I hope you can find your keys soon!! :/ You're so cute!
