Can I tell you a little story?
A good seven or eight years ago, I fell in love with my first blog. Joy The Baker. To this day, she is someone I admire and look up to. She created this little place on the internet and shared her love for baking along with her sense of humor. I would say she's the reason why I decided to try out this blogging thing. She's also the reason I fell deeper in love with baking.
Recently, she wrote a blog post about her journey with blogging and the relationship she has built with her readers. In the post, she mentions the advice she gave a reader at her book tour in regards to relationships but also life. She said "do it all the way." And that just stuck with me. In so many aspects of my life, I get scared to jump head first into things and give it my all. There is always that voice in the back of my mind saying "But what if you fail? You will be embarrassed and heart broken. And you will be a FAILURE." But what if you succeed? And if you fail, then you fail and you get back up. It will not be the end of the world as we know it. Life will go on. But it is better to try and to fail than to never have tried at all.
So thank you, Joy. For reminding me to do life in big ways and to put my all into everything.
"Do it all the way."
